Use a lemon with salt to scrub surfaces clean.

Dealing with stubborn stain on wooden cutting boards or water stains on appliances? A little lemon and salt can help with both! Shine up either of these stain with a half of a lemon dipped in coarse salt. Gently rub, and with time you’ll see these stains lift.

Easily clean your microwave.

Microwaves can be one of the most challenging spots to clean in the kitchen. They have so many hidden nooks and crannies that food can get caught in, resulting in odors that are hard to get rid of. Combat this but putting a cup of water with 2 tablespoons of lemon juice for 5 minutes, and leaving it to sit for 5 minutes later. The steam from the lemon and water solution will help melt away grime!

Wipe down grill grime.

With summer winding down it’s time to clean the grill and put it away for the season. Grab lemon juice mixed with water or baking soda to cut through grill grime and get it shining like new. You’ll thank yourself later!
